Want to learn more about our traffic control posts? Read on to find out about the various traffic control bollard types we offer, as well as the industry applications for which they can be used.

Our Crash Protection Bollards

Since 1999, TrafficGuard, Inc has offered three main traffic control posts: permanent, removable and collapsible. While all these bollard types provide high levels of security, each has its benefits. Removable and collapsible bollards are most commonly used in areas that need temporary site restriction or protection. When not in use, property owners can simply remove or collapse these traffic control bollards to create a safe surface over which cars can drive. Removable bollards also come with the option for internal or external locking mechanisms. Fixed bollards are more commonly used in areas that need permanent site protection. These bollards can be embedded directly into the ground or can be mounted on the surface.

We construct all these traffic control bollard types from high-grade stainless steel for added crash protection. To add visual deterrence, we also coat them in a bold yellow finish, as well as 3M reflective tape. Additionally, all of our bollards have a corrosion- and rust-resistant primer and 5,000-hour salt spray.
