TrafficGuard®, Inc. Core-In Protection Systems: ASTM F3016 Crash Tested Fixed & Removable Bollards

Child care facilities are often facilities most vulnerable to storefront vehicle crashes and most in need of security bollards to protect their facilities and the children and teachers inside.  Many of these child care and early learning facilities are pre-existing facilities that did not plan to have to protect their entrances from errant vehicles.  However, as storefront crashes rise from a wide range of causes; driver error, medical incidents behind the wheel and distracted driving it has become more important than ever to address the risk posed.   TrafficGuard® crash tested core in bollards offer learning centers an ideal protective bollard solution with fixed bollards where vehicle access won’t be required, removable bollards where vehicle access will be required, the ability to use bollard covers and the ability to attached signage.

TrafficGuard® Core-In Protection Systems have been designed, tested and engineered in US to address the need for rapid deployment of protective bollards as well as to offer a system that is affordable to install.  Core-In fixed and removable bollards can be installed in a pre-existing slab of 3” or more and eliminate the need for a massive and costly excavation.   The end result is a bollard system that can be deployed rapidly, inexpensively and offer the peace of mind that a crash tested security post offers.

Tested to ASTM F3016 at Calspan in Buffalo, NY with core-in solutions now offered at 10 and 20 MPH.   Both fixed and removable bollard solutions have been tested with HDPE bollard covers as well as with signage, as shown below, giving end users great flexibility in how they choose to deploy their Core-In bollard systems.  Removable bollards in the Core-In series feature the patented (U.S. Patent 8,297,873) Helix Lock Locking system, giving them a clean look and enables them to be used with a bollard cover.

Bollard Warehouse, Inc. is the licensed manufacturer of TrafficGuard®, Inc. ASTM F3016 crash tested bollard line.
