Embedded vs. Surface Mounted Fixed Bollards: Which is Better for You?

Embedded fixed bollards can be used alone or in conjunction with removable bollards to create access points in the event occasional vehicle access may be required. Our embedded bollards are sized and finished to match the removable bollards in our catalog. For a lower maintenance longer lived embedded bollard, we also manufacture our fixed posts in 304 Stainless Steel with a standard #4 brushed finish, offering an aesthetic look and additional durability.

Surface mounted fixed bollards are ideal in industrial settings, where aesthetics may not be the primary concern. They are however ideal in providing visual deterrence and are easily surface mounted to an existing slab.
