The Benefits of Stainless Steel

304 stainless steel is an ideal finish for a number of reasons. Bollards manufactured from 304 stainless steel are polished to give them a visually attractive finish to allow them to blend in to any architectural setting and are viable in a wide range of bollard applications. Further, stainless security bollards are an ideal selection for marine environments where carbon steel can corrode more rapidly. Removable stainless steel bollards are an ideal solution for outdoor seating environments and streetscape projects; providing both protection for pedestrians and a visual appeal to any streetscape project.

TrafficGuard®, Inc. manufactures most of its carbon / powder coated removable locking bollard series in 304 stainless steel with a standard #4 brushed finish. These include locking bollard series; Key Lock, Helix Lock and Round Post Lock. In the non-locking series; Drop-In and Twist-In models are available. This gives customers flexibility in the material and finish on a given project. It also allows end users to use carbon / powder coated or stainless interchangeably as both stainless steel bollard models and carbon / powder coated removable bollard models utilize the same ground sleeve options.
